122,494 people in Australia
become homeless every year.

Our Actual Work

We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need by donating warm clothes and sleeping bag to homeless people.

Mission Statement

Giving all Australians warmer winters.

Our Vision

Homelessness is on the rise in Australia and there is currently a housing crisis, which is preventing many people, including children, the elderly and families, from finding a good home.

Believe it or not, Australia is not always 100% sunny throughout the year and many parts of the country experience temperatures of under 0 degrees Celsius during winter.

Warmer Winters for Australia’s vision is to provide warm clothing for those who are not fortunate enough to have it, by encouraging people like us to donate their old/unworn clothes to be given as a gift to local shelters and kitchens throughout the country, which provide support for the homeless.

Our not-for-profit organisation aims to gather clothes, both children’s and adults’, which we can then give to those who desperately need them.

Do you have any clothes in your wardrobe, which you haven’t worn in a while? They say that change is as good as a holiday, so why not revamp and declutter your wardrobe, so that you can share what you barely use with those who might only dream of wearing one of you have once?

Could you imagine spending every day in winter wondering when your next meal is, whether you will survive the next night in the cold, whether you can afford to pay your heating bill, or whether you may have somewhere safe to live in the next 12 months?

Homeless

Most of us cannot, however, there are many for whom such challenges and thoughts are prevalent every single day. Slowly, but surely, it is this small group of students’ wish to involve students across Australia in taking up this project through participating in our initiative.

If you are at a school, where you would like to introduce our Warmer Winters for Australia programme, please do get in touch with one of our team. We will set you up to make a difference to people’s lives, by simply donating any clothes you probably don’t need…

So, let’s combine forces and make life easier for those in need!..
Contact us to donate your clothes to Warmer Winters for Australia today.

Although we are commencing in Queensland, we are hoping to extend to all the states by appointing delegates for each school in Australia.
